It was a good working test season for Natasha Blunt and Fern! First a third, the a second and then it was the magic 1st. Natasha with Fern.

Callum Glancy and Stark. They won 3rd place at the Leicester Gundog Society the Novice Dog & Novice Handler.They also won 3rd place at the 2016 East Midlands Gundog Club for Novice Dog & Novice Handler.

January 2014Jackie Pywell having gained second at the Leicestershire gundog society novice field trial on Monday 27th January 2014. Well done Jackie last dog standing at your first field trial - a great achievement.

June 2013Trainees achieving their good citizen bronze award all passes - some very happy people.
Congratulations to Ady for gaining 2nd place in the Special Puppy Working Test at the Lincolnshire Gundog Society on Sunday the 30th of June 2013 ... and at only 7 months old!
Brian Wills with Jodie (below) winning the East Midland Gundog Club Novice Test -16th June 2013 - this was his first test that he has run in, well done Brian. Also congratulations to Sandra Braithwaite with Isla for coming second.

FIELD TRIAL NEWS - Season 2010/2011We have had some good successes in our trialling season.Ronnie Gent with Olivertash Briar at Mistigri had been awarded a 2nd at Northern Golden Retriever Association AV Novice Stake at Carlton Towers, Nr Selby, North Yorkshire. Judges were John Drury, Stan Tweedy, Jim Swindlehurst and Andrew Coates. Ronnie has also gained a third at Norwich Gundog Club At Quidenham, Norfolk on 1st November 2010. Judges were Mr P. Hammond, Mrs J. Hankey, Mr R. Rayner, Mr M. Evans. Richie has also collected three guns choice awards to go with his 2nd and 3rd awards.Dawn Rose with Holywear Briar Rose at Gaytonwood has been awarded a 4th in the Northern Golden Retriever Association AV Novice Stake at Rainford Hall, St Helen's Merseyside. Judges Terry Bailey, Gaynor Bailey, Anne Crookes and Derek Milla. Dawn Rose with Holywear Briar Rose at Gaytonwood Was also awarded Guns Choice at the Southern Golden Retriever Society AV Novice Stake at Knowle Hill Game Farm, Ulcombe, Kent. Judges Andrew Wright, Dave Barnes, Trevor Souster and Chris Marshall. Congratulations to Dawn and Briar having won their first NOVICE FIELD TRIAL on the 6th of January 2011.Trish Griffiths, (shown left) from our adult training class with Jacobean Jack bred by Geoff Dilworth won the East Midland Gundog Club's AV Novice Stake. Judges Linda Partridge, Dorothy Walls-Duffin, Chris Warner and Jane Fairclough. Jack was also awarded the Guns Choice award. Not bad for Trish's first ever field trial!!!

EAST MIDLAND GUNDOG CLUB PUPPY, NOVICE DOG/NOVICE HANDLER AND NOVICE TEST - 6TH JUNE 2010We had a really good day out at the above event with a super result for some of my trainees. The photo shows Simon and Zoe taking 2nd in the novice dog-novice hander, Kim with Cashew getting 3rd and Karen and Molly getting a certificate of merit.Also on there is Geoff with Sally gaining 4th in the Novice. Well done to all of you for holding your nerve and handling your dogs in what can only be described as a different environment to our usual training sessions.
